I feed the garden birds, I have done for the 10+ years we have lived here. I give them mix of seed, suet and bird crack (aka mealworms) which they get a light sprinkling on the top of the feeder to lure them in. We are both working from home. DH's office space opens onto the garden and I'm tucked away upstairs. Thanks to the nice weather he has the doors open all day and has become a bit of a bird watcher on the side - he swivels his chair when on phone calls so he can watch while he talks to colleagues.
Today I went to refill the feeder and couldn't find the mealworms. I bought a new bag last week so short have had plenty. I quizzed DH and he confessed that he'd been topping up the feeders with mealworms several times a day. I feel like he's being a Disney Dad to the local bird life. I've spent years keeping them fed and watered come rain, snow and drought and he's swanned in the thrown all the good stuff at them! So should I LTB? Or do I let him get away with it (but hide all bit the basic bag of cheap seed)?
