Who uses Wish.com?

Thinking of getting the app and buying a couple of items of clothing which look good on adverts. A little wary though as I know there are so many Clothing websites offering cheap clothes which look nothing like the photos when they arrive.

If you’ve bought clothing from Wish, what’s it like? Is the fabric and colour the same as in the photos? I’ve looked at reviews and the main issue seems to be about sizing (you need to order bigger than usual) plus a few issues around delivery times. But overall fairly positive.

And what about other products apart from clothing? Any good
TIA

I’ve bought a few things from Wish. Everything is sold by different sellers, so some things are great and exactly as said, others are absolutely awful and nowhere alike.

All you can is read the reviews before you buy; that will tell you whether or not you’re likely to be getting what you want.

It’s a treasure trove of gold and shit sold by millions of different people; it’s not one company so you can’t say it’s all good/true to size or it’s all awful. You just have to dig to find the gems.

(Oh and you should expect to wait a month for anything to arrive.)

I know someone who orders off Wish and then says she wants to return it. Every time so far they have just given her her money back and let her keep the item as postage is too much to return.

She's done this 6 or 7 times.

Hit and miss to be honest. Some things are great and others are not and go in the bin. I read reviews and accept that for the price you are taking a risk. I won't buy makeup or any food related items though as they can be dodgy. The jewellery is nice though and some decent quality

Mostly shit, a few gems. A lot of jewellery is advertised as being sterling silver. It isn't.
Never bought clothes so couldn't comment on those.

Definitely hit and miss. The children's clothes I've bought have all bern great but the adult stuff not so much.

You're better off on Aliexpress it's often cheaper than wish with free delivery and the site doesn't release your payment to the seller until you either confirm the order has arrived or payment protection runs out (which you can extend or open a case for item not received). I don't buy clothes but I have made 829 orders. My top tips are to read the reviews (sort by ones with photos), don't let payment protection run out and never ever close the case if you open one or accept a refund through paypal.

Thanks all, that’s interesting. Hadn’t heard of Aliexpress so will give that a look
