Hy all.
So at the mo I’m separated from my oh we are married and have 3 children. We are on a joint tenancy and he has mentioned to me about a residency order. However he’s already sed as well that I can have the house and kids to me this makes no sense. He wants a residency order to help get a claim for homelessness is this right ?

I'm not sure but it could be that if you have a residency order then he is officially homeless which will give him more points on the choice based letting system so he'll get a housing association property much easier.

Thank you for your comment. I’ve been reading up that children are apart of this. I think I’m scared tbh I don’t want to lose my kids.
