Does anyone miss dressing up?!

Not for a ball or anything, just making an effort for going to the pub type thing!

I really, really miss it. It's only just occurred to me that I was given some gorgeous jewellery for Mother's Day and I haven't actually worn it because it's 'going out' jewellery. I haven't worn make up for weeks, I can't remember the last time I styled my hair and my current wardrobe is full of tracksuit bottoms and comfy t-shirts! That is SO not me.

I want to wear some nice jeans and a pretty top. I want to wear heels. I want to wear lipstick again, use eyeliner etc, etc. Of course I could do all that at home, but it would be pointless chasing after the kids in heels, or feeding the baby in a gorgeous silky top or walking the muddy dogs in expensive jeans. I just grab whatever's nearest in the morning and shove my hair up.

It's totally trivial, I get that, but does anyone else feel the same?!

Yep I miss it.

I've downloaded stylebook and photographed all my clothes and now I just sit here creating outfits for when we are allowed out again.

No, tbh. So much easier to chuck on comfortable clothes, leave my hair natural (not too happy with my hair actually) and sack makeup off. I cba ever dressing up again 😂

I do my hair and light makeup every day unless I'm sunbathing.

Wear a dress if it's sunny or leggings and top/hoodie if not

Every Saturday is date night via FaceTime so I dress up and do hair and makeup. It's something I really look forward to!

God no! Am so happy not to have to bother. I much prefer being in my comfy clothes and not having to do hair makeup or nails. Such a faff.

I actually put proper clothes on today as I had to venture out - felt odd! I think I might be a bit ‘over’ half my wardrobe. Shock. Things are just not feeling ‘right’ on me any more - sure they fit ok, they just don’t all feel like my clothes any more if that makes sense? I’ve sorted out an enormous charity bag for when I can donate. 😳. My hair goes in a top-knot in order to compensate for my grown out fringe, sun block and a mask is about all I put on my face. Yep, going back to the wild...

When I get up I put on jeans and a tshirt , or whilst the weather is nice, denim shorts and a tshirt. As long as I fit into them I am happy,Smile then in the evening, I change into a pair of trackies and sloggy socks.

DS needed a lift somewhere the other day, I offered to drive him, I ran upstairs and put a summer dress on, I was halfway to our destination when I realised that I was so excited at wearing a dress and heels, I had forgotten to put a bra on. Grin
