NHS pension query - any help?

I worked for 2 years when I first qualified and was quite skint and starting my mat leave so withdrew from the scheme and had a refund. Now been in a better position financially and would like to rejoin, two years on. Will my pension contribution service be re-set from now, or will the clock go back to when I started my service or a different date? I am Band 6 now.

It starts from the date you start contributing this time. You have had a refund from your previous service so that won't count.

As fifty says, you haven't made any previous contributions, so it starts from now. It's not a years service things, it's down to contributions.
