Please recommend your podcast app for android

I tried posting this in podcasts but it's fairly quiet over there... up till recently I used stitcher which was ok but doesn't seem to work on my new Samsung . Google podcast and pocket cast don't seem to have some of my regulars uploaded in the last 6+ months. I hate spotify with a vengeance. Can anyone recommend the android app you use?

I use Antennapod on a Motorola phone. I tried a few and that was the one I liked best, but can't remember why.

I don't understand the mechanics but it mentions iTunes, gpodder.net, fyyd and there's an option to download directly from a website. Seems pretty reliable to me.

I listen to a lot of BBC content (don't even think about trying BBC Sounds, it's appalling, especially if you want to listen to documentary type series in order, which seems to be impossible) plus Scummy Mummies, Jenny Eclair, Serial when that was running, The Teacher's Pet, all sorts really.

Sorry, I use spotify, don't know why you hate it, seems ok to me.

I use Podcast Addict as well.

I use Acast. It has virtually everything I want to listen to. I use Spotify for anything it doesn't have.
