Are massage therapists closed?

I assume that all massage therapists/physiotherapists are closed at the moment? I only ask as I am having major issues with my shoulder which is normally resolved by having regular sports massage. Its for the purpose of pain relief not relaxation (it is extremely uncomfortable!) but I assume this makes no difference. When might we expect to see places like this offer face to face appointments for manipulation/massage?

Yes they are closed and I wish with all my heart (and bad back) that they weren't. Unfortunately, under this current regime, I can't see any way they can reopen, due to the close contact nature of the service, which is very bad news for this largely self employed sector, as well as for people like you and me who rely on their services.

I know a physio in London that has just re-opened albeit with very limited in person appointments so I think there are some places working.

Thank you! Yes that's what I was wondering, if any places may have begun to reopen. It's obviously impossible to social distance in these circumstances so I'm not surprised by that. I am annoyed by the fact I had just got my injury under control after two long years and its flared back up again. I'm sorry you are suffering too!
