We have a UK holiday booked for July. We have just been contacted by the owner to ask that we pay the remaining balance by 2 June. Their email states that if we cannot travel due to government guidance on our planned dates then we can reschedule our holiday for up to 12 months after the actual booked dates but only if we pay for the holiday in full by next week. If we were to cancel now we would lose the first 50% we have already paid. I'm not sure what to do, the email wasn't clear with regards to the rescheduling. We like to travel in July or August but what if this is already booked up? I don't want to go in say Jan or Feb. Can the owner do this? It's an unprecedented situation.
