Morning. Just a bit of an offload really. I live in a ground floor flat and the communal door is right by my living room. It's an old Victorian building so really echoey. My neighbour upstairs slams the door whenever he goes out and comes in so that it shakes my flat. I've spoken to him before in a jokey way as we get on really well and he did apologise and stop for about two days. Yesterday it was back to slamming and because it was a Bank Holiday, he was in and all our day slamming the door, so much so that some plaster and wood fell from my living room window. They are old and wooden. I went out and had another word and he apologised again and said he forgets. I don't know why but I just feel really bad about asking him again. I'm a 46 year old woman for gods sake. He's probably about 24. He's just left for work and has shut the door very quietly. Of course I expect to hear some noise. None of the other residents slam the door. Apart from the slamming, he's actually brilliant and has helped me a few times when I've had a couple of leaks and is generally quite quiet. Was it bad of me to ask again?
