Bring an animal back

Any animal from any era.

I'd bring mammoths back. I find them absolutely fascinating and can't imagine something that big.

What would you bring back?

The dodo. (If birds count.)

Pterodactyls. Unless they eat people?

But I would enjoy mammoths too.

Oh any id want it to stay a cute little baby forever. . Can you imagine how adorable one of those would have been.

If you want a tiny dinosaur go for a microraptor, so named because it was about the size of a turkey (looked a bit like a velociraptor but with feathers on its head too).

A triceratops please! They wouldn’t eat people, so I’d be fine keeping it in the back garden, right?

Either a triceratops or the moa, or I'd save the kakapo from going extinct, who doesn't love a parrot so fat it looks like a green football!

Yes that would be great. I watch Bondi Vet (quest Red Channel) and the vet occasionally visits a zoo where they are some devils. Apparently there is a deadly facial tumour thingy that some get.

Terror bird, I think it's called that. And a titanoboa.
