Our hen laid a torpedo

We went out to collect the eggs this morning and one of the girls had laid this egg, never seen one like it before

Ha ha that's funny. I used to work in a farm shop and we used to sell tests of mishapes but don't think I ever saw one like that.

Aaagghh trays not tests.

My hens sometimes lay ones similar, though not as extreme as that. We had a tiny egg last week too and I can't bring myself to use it!

No the youngest hens are 2, we think we know which hen laid it and she's fit and well. I've had fairy (tiny) eggs in the past but never one like this.
