Would you appreciate a £10 e-gift voucher for your favourite shop or would you find it quite cheap as a gift?

Usually we would get each other alcohol/chocolates/nail varnish or some other kind of small token gift up to around £10 - £15, however now that we're in lockdown I want to find something electronic that I can have sent to her email address.

I'd appreciate it. I'm always hinting at M&S gift vouchers for their £10 steaks. Or the Body Shop for the handcream that I like. Instead I've had stuff I've given away or Boots/Debenhams vouchers sitting in a drawer.

If it’s in line with the usual cost of gifts, that seems entirely reasonable to me. I can see how it might feel ‘cheap’, because £10 tends to be the lowest denomination voucher, but value wise, it’s the same, and has the benefit of giving the recipient the freedom to get something they want.

tl:dr - I’d appreciate it.

The cost of shipping (up to £5.95) would negate the gift.

Thanks @Ponoka7, @WarmSausageTea and @MeninSuits, a £10 Boden voucher it is. I know she always has a wish list so at least it’d be a small help towards something Smile
