Wedding Anniversary

It’s my 18th wedding anniversary today. To say it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster is putting it mildly but we’ve come through so much & I can honestly say I’m happy to still be here. A few years back I seriously considered leaving with DD. Sometimes you have to reach rock bottom to be able to climb back up & then really appreciate the view from the top.
Just wondering how long you have all either been married or with your partner & how you feel now ❤️

30 years this May.
Never considered leaving, except for the first year.
We have experienced some very challenging times with unemployment (his), but he is a pretty good house husband when he needs to be.

Nearly 26 yrs married but together nearly 35 yrs.
Still in love, still enjoy each others co pany.
Of course sometimes we get on each others nerves, but on the whole, were really good together.
One wobble about 13 yrs ago, but actually was depression on my part and soon sorted out with the right meds and therapy.
So glad we didn’t let that beat us.
And now in the middle of lockdown together we know we will make it to the end 💕🥂

We celebrated (?) 25 years last month. The question mark is because we had planned to go abroad for a holiday but ended up having steak and chips served by our son.
What I've noticed about weddings in the years since we got married, apart from the choice of venues (when we got married you could only hold the service in church or at a registry office) is that it seems the norm to have a "theme". We just got married according to our budget.
Long marriages are normal in our family. GPS were married for 67 years and an aunt and uncle for over 70 years... until they died.
