Help urine doesn't smell right

Hello, I wouldnt usually go on here but not sure who to ask, recently when I urinate it smells kinda like mini cheddar and I don't know why, I don't have any other signs of a UTI so not sure. I have googled to no avail and if it helps I'm on the implant for the past year, it also kinda smells like fake tan but not like urine/ 'fish' ect help

What have you eaten?Some foods like asparagus makes urine smell .

Nothing out of the ordinary same as always on my shopping list

Pregnant? My wee smelled odd when I was pregnant.

How much water have you been drinking? What colour is the urine?

Dehydrated, likely. I'm a habitual offender.

Very light almost like water and drinking a lot more in this heat, I wondered if pregnant but not like before so thought noo definitely not

Before noticing this though I've had three dreams about having a baby girl in the last 2 weeks

If I were you I’d probably take a course of cystitis treatment from a supermarket. I’ve had similar before and it won’t do you any harm if it turns out it’s not cystitis. Then if that doesn’t work and you’re still concerned, go to the doctor

Could be pregnant! You never know unless you test!

That's the thing my doctor isn't seeing anyone and idk if I'm able to call like that, I've been tempted to take pregnancy but if I was I would be around 8-12 weeks by now as haven't had sex since just after lockdown. Also I had spotting of dark blood a few weeks bad but put it down to implant

Try D-mannose. A natural sugar that’s great for UTI (can be found on amazon)

As a disclosure I got pregnant twice in one year first time Ab second time Mc of twins at 14 weeks both times I was on different contraception and both failed I have been on implant straight away after since then

While you’re at the shop I agree with a PP about getting some cranberry sachets just in case you’re not pregnant

Hormonal fluctuations can make your per change smells. Not necessarily pregnancy related but could be cycle related. My pee smells of sugar puffs at ovulation.

I haven't had that since my implant but worth a look into, an even stranger symptom has been almost non existent asthma after being a vulnerable asthmatic in and out of hospital for years and years. My lungs and heart are better than ever which is just odd

I had the same. Really unpleasant smell. Went to the doctors with ba specimen. The tester came out clear. However, she suggested I.might like to go to the local bowel and bladder clinic. The appointment was about six weeks later while this smell persisted and really worried me. Gave the nurse there another sample and she said it was a terrible infection. Got antibiotics and within a few hours the smell had gone.
