Just curious and bored,
Ive recently had 3 curries in 2 weeks and I think boredom has got the best of me 😂
Mine at the minute is chicken madras, pilau rice, garlic naan and saag paneer what's yours?

Burnt spinach balti with lamb
Chicken shaslik
Tarka Dhal
Garlic Naan
Pilau
Or cancel the tikka and pilau and add biryani. Any biryani.

Had Thai last week, now wishing it was Indian...

A friend who moved to Berwick the week before lockdown jealous much was mates with the owners of a local restaurant and supplied them with the surplus from her allotment; as a thank you for helping, she asked me to go along with her for a 'special meal' towards the end of last year's heatwave.

The owners were vegan and basically showcased every vegetable they had as a thank you/look what we can do.

Nothing was recognisable in terms of what you would ordinarily buy. But it was all delicious, light, fresh, delicately spiced with completely different combinations to work with each vegetable.

So everything from there.

Apart from that, Masala Dosa and Sambar from round the corner before it closed forever.

I'm not vegetarian, but given an choice, I would rather have every meal like that.

I love South Indian food and my favourite is aloo dosa with all the accompaniments
We found a good Pakistani restaurant that does great food. I love the biryani and the chicken saag with roti.

Deathraystare · 26/05/2020 09:07

I don't tend to have take aways apart from the very occasional fish with chips but when I do occasionally eat out and if it is Indian I either go veggy or fishy or bothy!

One of my favourite places does Southern Indian cooking and does a lunch speacial of a dosa (love them!), with some chutnies and rice.

It comes on a tray though, not a plate so I end up completely decorated on my front!

I like prawn curries and fish curries . It is annoying that a lot of Indian (not southern) fob vegetarians off with the side order veggies (don't get me wrong I love Tarka Dhal and Bombay Potatoes and sag aloo!

limesoda · 26/05/2020 09:14

Dosa if I'm sitting in.

Takeaway we get gobi manchurian, pav bhaji, either Dahl makhani or paneer or garlic & chilli prawns and a garlic naan. Lush.
