It’s been settled outside on some wood all day.
DH says to zoom in on its face because it looks like a sheep.
I say - turn the photo upside down to see a crucified teddybear.
What do you see? Apart from a beautiful creature I mean!

Wow that is gorgeous!

userxx · 24/05/2020 22:37

It's beautiful in a strange kind of way. I do like moths.

IamaBluebird · 24/05/2020 22:37

I see a little bug in a lace dress on her way to a party. I haven't been drinking.
It's lovely Smile

Pantah630 · 24/05/2020 22:37

Lovely as long as it stays still and isn't flying around your face. Grin

SoMuchToBits · 24/05/2020 22:40

Just don't let it eat the carpet!

ShipshapeShore · 24/05/2020 22:40

It is rather a beauty. I had an elephant hawk-moth in the garden a couple of years ago and I couldn't stop looking at it, how can anything in nature be that neon pink and green?!

Can't see a sheep but it is very creepy upside down.

Horsemad · 24/05/2020 22:42

Nice, it's a Pale Tussock. 🙂

Snooks1971 · 24/05/2020 22:46

@Horsemad wow I just googled Pale Tussocks - yep beautiful. Their faces!

justanotherneighinparadise · 24/05/2020 22:48

SarahTancredi · 24/05/2020 22:49

Oh that's beautiful 😍😍

userxx · 24/05/2020 22:54

I've just googled too! How cute are their little faces.

Snooks1971 · 24/05/2020 22:58

Can’t see its face (if it’s still there tomorrow), I’m pondering if they masquerade as upside down teddy bears to deter predators. Hmmm
I love the furry legs/arms

Yuk, I can’t stand moths. They always go for your eyes.

FreezerBird · 24/05/2020 23:43

Oh it's lovely! I like its furry trousers.

TimeWastingButFun · 25/05/2020 00:09

It looks like a baby reindeer in a nightie

WhenItIsOver · 25/05/2020 00:15

I once had an emerald moth on the patio door so was able to see both sides of it. And huge red one in the attic rooms one winter when we were packing to move out, can't remember what it was.

Moths are beautiful, although not keen on clothes and webbing moths.

covetingthepreciousthings · 25/05/2020 00:22

Oh that's lovely! Thanks for sharing.

ALongHardWinter · 25/05/2020 01:20

I used to get these in my flat quite often during the warmer months. Haven't seen one for a couple of years though.

EBearhug · 25/05/2020 01:22

My friend had one of those the other day - I wonder if it's a good year for them?

Chatons · 25/05/2020 01:23

At first glance at the thumbnail, I saw a fluffy bunny rabbit in a long dress. So cute!

When I clicked on it, I saw the sheep.

Thepigeonsarecoming · 25/05/2020 01:33

Looks to me like a mini Iorek Byrnison from his Dark Materials tv show (and books) but with a different helmet 😂

This was on my bathroom window when I came out of the shower the other night. I almost fell over with the shock I'm terrified of moths.
