Bank Holiday Monday Plans?

It doesn’t really feel like a Bank Holiday weekend with everything that’s going on but we’ll still try to do something nice. It’s our wedding anniversary tomorrow too. We were going to have steak for tea but are having that tonight instead as we got up late so DH didn’t have time to make the slow cooker dish we’d planned. Reluctant to hit the beach as keep hearing horror stories of massive crowds with many not social distancing plus people using the sand as a toilet 🤮 Also we’re advised not to swim as there are no lifeguards, although actually some beaches we go to never have them anyway.

Read my book in the sunshine with a couple of glasses of rosé, is the plan!

I worked a 12hr shift today and I'm
Doing the same again tomorrow, 12hr shift in a nursing home.

God I hope you don't live in my street @sHREDDIES19 - my neighbours are out in the street yelling at each other, kids all playing together making a right racket, which means no peace for anyone in their gardens who doesn't participate in their socialising.

I will hopefully be enjoying the sunshine in my garden without neighbour noise but I doubt it.

@BikeRunSki the parking spaces were sold out when I first looked, and then someone must have cancelled their ticket because I randomly looked a few hours later and there was once space available!

Going out for a picnic with DH and the dog. Not the beach but somewhere with water so ddog can swim. Maybe one of the local wild swimming spots.

Since I’m in Scotland and we’re still locked down I’ll be at home keeping safe.

Working an early shift today.
If I have the energy I will do some baking when I get home and we can have some afternoon tea. Fajitas for dinner.
Options for this evening, a walk in the woods and /or a streamed theatre performance on YouTube.

Going mountain biking on the fells near our house. Pizza for tea.

Off to work - school.

DS and I are meeting up with his best friend and her mum.
Barbecue for lunch.
Walk by the river later.

Having spent all day yesterday cleaning inside my Motorhome I decided to sleep in it on the drive ( Having severe canping withdrawal symptoms)
Woke with back ache and so today need to hunt down a mattress topper that's thick enough to do the job but also can be rolled up to fit inside the tiny Moho.
Then I'm washing the outside of it and the car
Go me

Home mainly, got a lot to do in the garden. We might head off to the local woods later, can't go far as there are no loos open nearby.

Off to work in a care home as usual get the staff paid and other office stuff. Might be getting our antibody tests soon hope so it will be interesting to see if I’ve had it.
Kids have DH and paddling pool set up will prob get home and sit in it .

We will be running a virus control proficiency course and an alertness test.

We may also go for a walk in the park.

I'm going food shopping while the rest of the family go on a bike ride.
BBQ for lunch and then we've managed to get a slot for mini golf that has reopened with social distancing in place. We are very excited by the change in the daily routine!
