Out for our daily walk and came across this. Really curious as to what it could be. Any ideas?

The second picture looks like a cable tensioner, the sort of thing they use to brace a pole that carries low tension electricity power lines (not those big tall pylons which carry high tension power)

The first picture looks like a wedding photographer has got fed up waiting for everyone to sort themselves out and he has gone home leaving his equipment behind.
