How Old Do I Look ? (photo included)

I’ve had plenty of lockdown thoughts about being grateful for my relatively ok health (asthma and very minor heart condition) and future travel ambitions so just wanted to know if I look as ‘lived-in’ as I feel.

I don’t wear any makeup/foundation/tinted moisturiser etc , just mascara.

I’m not sensitive about my age so be as brutal as you like

Was going to say 50. I don’t think you look ‘lived in’ your skin is lovely and your eyes are very pretty.

You look great OP and I guessed around the same age as me, 48. I think with hair and make up done you could look younger, I think the centre parting and long hair might be ageing you a little bit. No reason to try to look younger though, you look lovely, natural, great features, nice skin.

The lines are only apparent when I smile, they don’t show when I’m not smiling. I do sunbathe occasionally but always use factor 50.

I wouldn’t say I’m healthy necessarily. I’m at least 2 stone more than I should be for my height. I do watersports during the summer, am vegetarian, never smoked, have a Baileys or rhubarb gin once every couple months.

I’ve namechanged for this but I agree with some other posters age isn’t important. It really is how you feel inside that matters.

That light that shines from your eyes, it starts to dim when you get older, your eye colour fades, (mine used to be blue, now dirty dishwater grey!) but despite everything there still so much to be grateful for. So many of us have been through hell or are still going through it, and I often wondered if my past shows in my face.

There’s nothing wrong with looking 60! You reminded me a lot of Anita roddick, so I think I was using her as a reference.
