How Old Do I Look ? (photo included)

No editing on photo, took in natural daylight. Bit blurry but hopefully can still see all the natural skin lines, etc

I’ve had plenty of lockdown thoughts about being grateful for my relatively ok health (asthma and very minor heart condition) and future travel ambitions so just wanted to know if I look as ‘lived-in’ as I feel.

I don’t wear any makeup/foundation/tinted moisturiser etc , just mascara.

I’m not sensitive about my age so be as brutal as you like

I’d say late forties /early fifties. You look lovely and a lot of fun too. Also v nice hair

I think people are comparing the OP to themselves rather than being deliberately mean

I thought the OP was about 10-15 years older than me as she has very sun worshipped skin

Turns out we're almost the same age but I've stayed out the sun and I've got less damage/tan

I read somewhere that people are best at guessing the age of people who are of a similar age to themselves so it's possible that people who are 18-25 might guess that someone who looks 45+ is 60- can't see why else they would!

I thought about 48. If that is you without makeup and flattering lighting then I bet you scrub up extremely well. You have a lovely shaped face and good skin.

I think you look lovely, very good bone structure, well proportioned features. I love natural faces, too much make up looks horrible IMO. I'm about the same age as you, and my DD (helpfully) pointed out that you couldn't see my eyebrows. A few sweeps of a light pencil and I really looked transformed. It's those little natural enhancements, like the mascara you wear that might just lift you a smidge. I do eyebrows, mascara and lipstick, but only when i go out, not all the time!

You look older than my 43 year old mum but younger than my 65 year old grandma I think you've posted a bad angle so just off the photo I'll go and guess mid 50's as I think you're gonna surprise us by being either a lot older or a lot younger

What makes me laugh are all the people saying 60 because they are 50 and op looks, at least 10 years younger of course ahe does. The world falls into two camps those that believe the social niceties 'oh i would never have guessed you were that age' and those who know its politeness. Very very rarely does anyone look 10 years younger if mn is to be believed everyone (except those that post pictures, strange that) look 20 when 40 and 30 when 50.
