Hi I have been trying to Google but it's hard to find much clear info. I have read that you can get a gastric band if 35bmi and over or for medical reasons such as being diabetic. And if you have a bmi of over 40 then you can get a gastric band. Possibly all on the NHS.
BUT if you can pay privately do you still have to have a BMI of 35 and over for medical reasons and 40bmi for losing the weight. Or as your paying private can you get a gastric band of your bmi is say 32/33 for example?
