Oh Lord, lockdown has changed me...

I'm sat doing my 100th sudoku, listening to Micheal Ball on the radio and chuckling along. Chuckling FGS! 😮

How things change... 😁

I did a collage the other day.

A collage.

Kittenlicker · 24/05/2020 12:56

I’m a tiny bit obsessed by jigsaws. This is not normal.

Ginandbearit1 · 24/05/2020 13:06

@Kittenlicker same! There are some independent online jigsaw sellers who I like to buy from, it is a great pastime Grin

BigSandyBalls2015 · 24/05/2020 13:10

I spent ages looking out the window yesterday at the neighbours van and how he had parked it, wondering if DH would have the room to swing his van in ... i even text him suggesting he approach the drive from the other way as it would be easier Shock.

I also became obsessed about a wheely bin that had been left outside our house ... I’ve actually become about 95 years old since lockdown

MrsJBaptiste · 24/05/2020 13:59

These have made me laugh, so glad I'm the only one who hasn't aged 50 years since March!

Same here and it suits me tbh

Ghostlyglow · 24/05/2020 14:05

I given names to all the dogs that get walked by our house.

Wauden · 24/05/2020 14:08

I have been curtain twitching Smile

YetAnotherSpartacus · 24/05/2020 14:08

I'm super busy, but when I knew lockdown was coming I fantasised about jigsaws. I really wish I had kept the awful ones from my childhood (think hand-me-downs from the early 60s). I've no time to do them, but I became awfully nostalgic.

Lynda07 · 24/05/2020 14:09

I love it.

I always had reclusive tendencies and now have an excuse.

Only when taking a delivery or putting out rubbish do I open the front door and I sit at the back of the house so don't look out the front. I've no idea what anyone else is doing and don't care but when I have looked, not much is going on, hardly any traffic. It's all very quiet really.

TV and Netflix are good. Eating and drinking very enjoyable but I have tried to cut down, the last thing I want to develop is a weight problem.

There's quite a lot all can do to help others via the internet, that's something I've explored.

I do not miss seeing people one bit.

My only worry, for myself, is if I need emergency dental treatment. I just hope I won't until lockdown is over. I do feel concerned for others and do what I can but am obviously limited.

iklboo · 24/05/2020 14:10

We've just bottled 40 pints of home brew cider.

Wauden · 24/05/2020 14:10

Gardening more so as to keep my judgemental neighbour a bit more in check.

AudacityOfHope · 24/05/2020 14:11

I am now a gardener 🤷🏻‍♀️

subcentro · 24/05/2020 14:12

I did the competition crossword in the National Trust magazine.

WorraLiberty · 24/05/2020 14:15

I took photos of my shoes, printed them and stuck them to the front of the boxes, for ease of selection Blush

I've never been this organised in my life and I've not even been furloughed!

MrsJBaptiste · 24/05/2020 22:37

@worraliberty Me neither come to think of it!

Love the show labelling although I have no individual shoe boxes, all my shoes are shoved into one big box!

I did some on-line jigsaws where the pictures were of art works.

pinkazing · 24/05/2020 23:23

I’ve replaced the shelves in my cupboard with hanging space and vinyl wrapped or spray painted it all. I’ve converted the disused random cupboard into a pantry - this is in progress as need more storage boxes. Organised the first 50 pairs of shoes onto racks - I had no idea I had so many. Now I need storage boxes and more coat hangers. It seems I need projects to keep me happy.

GulliBelle · 25/05/2020 00:42

Today I made scones using flour, lemonade and cream from the yellow sticker shelf. I was very proud of myself.

It is the first time this century I have done baking.

CoRhona · 25/05/2020 01:00

I have made choux pastry (won't bother again, tasted salty Blush)
