I can hear a lawnmower somewhere. DS tormenting Alexa with silly questions in the kitchen and best of all shrieks of excitement as children next door open Eid presents.

Wind and birdsong 💨 🐦

The man at the house opposite building a large shed thing, my water fountain behind me, sparrows chirruping on the roof and a bit of distant traffic, ‘‘tis blissful sat in the sun.

DD(6) is chattering about something or other, I've tuned her out a bit as she's not actually talking to me, just talking. DS(1) is eating his lunch and watching Twirlywoos. Tuned that out as well!

Someone was cutting their grass earlier but other than that it's been a fairly quiet day so far.

I can hear DSS screaming because he didn’t get to go to the park and play football with everyone else because he’s been really naughty all day. I drew the short straw of staying with him (because I’m heavily pregnant and not as capable of playing football right now as DH).
