Bloom and wild??

Hi. I was hoping someone could help. I wanted to send some flowers to a friend who just lost their mother. I came across Bloom and Wild and was wondering if anyone could recommend them or not. Also, there is a lot of mention of subscriptions but I assume I can just order a one off delivery? Thank you.

I've used them loads. The letterbox flowers are amazing and have always lasted ages and ages!

singswithitsfingers · 23/05/2020 13:30

Would recommend. They are my default now for gifts. I don't know about the subscriptions.

Sweetpotatoaddict · 23/05/2020 13:32

Their flowers are beautiful, and with one of the always available discount codes they are considerably cheaper than other online flowers. There are hand tied bouquets available for those that struggle to arrange,

mogtheexcellent · 23/05/2020 13:33

I send to my mum and she loves them. They open after a couple of days so dont look amazing to begin with. They do some hand tied ones which I havent tried.

I have received expensive bouquets from DH recently as he has no imagination. Valentines day was m &s rubbish. Half the Rose's were broken. Birthday was waitrose. All flowers had died by day 4 and it was a 50 quid arrangement. Anniversary was Next but mostly foliage and had to top up with flowers on a supermarket shop.

Hope that helps.

I was happy with them. The post man didn’t deliver and sent them back to the sorting office. I rung bloom and wild and they were lovely about it. Sent another bunch special delivery so we ended up with two bunches even though it wasn’t their fault.

TheSheepofWallSt · 23/05/2020 13:36

Yeah they’re ace- look dreadful until they’ve been in water a little while but I had some delivered at the start of lockdown that were beautiful for 3 weeks and “sad but pretty” for another week after that.

Karlkennedyslovechild · 23/05/2020 13:38

Received once and used many times. I would definitely recommend

madcatladyforever · 23/05/2020 13:40

I wouldn't have minded the awful blooms quite so much had it not been for the stuck up attitude of the awful "customer services" woman I spoke to. She didn't give a shit. i told her it was my mums last mothers day - no sorry or anything, it was like getting blood out of a stone to get a decent replacement and an apology.
If a customer services department makes me really angry I'll never use that company again.

MysteriesOfTheOrganism · 23/05/2020 13:41

I've used them a lot - they've always been great.

TheFormidableMrsC · 23/05/2020 13:43

I've had several of the letterbox bouquets since lockdown because I was ill. They are just gorgeous and last ages!

Impatientwino · 23/05/2020 13:45

I've used them a few times and always been pleased. I received some for the first time this week and they are beautiful!

I love them! Sent to my mother in law and for some reason the postie didn't deliver them. They contacted me and said they should be fine, but if not to give them a shout. I sent a pic to them as the flowers were a bit wilted (it took 2 days before we could arrange to have them collected) and they sent out a beautiful replacement bunch. Really impressed with their customer service!

2bazookas · 23/05/2020 13:51

Someone sent me a B and w letterbox delivery over 2 weeks ago; never had them before. Arrive in slim brown packet through the letterbox. Instructions said wte "Your flowers are not dead, just sleeping. Here's how to wake them up" TBH they did look very sad and droopy but when I followed the instructions, they "awoke" to full glory and have been fabulous ever since, over 2 weeks now. I'd definitely use BW to send flowers myself.

Only one tiny peeve was the pollyanna name of their "Customer Delight Team" . A red rag to my unlovelier instincts, which I had absolutely no excuse to toss over my horns.

whitesoxx · 23/05/2020 13:52

I love them

Another fan here, I have had a subscription since they started. I have had a couple of dud bouquets over the years, but think customer services are excellent. Here’s another £10 link, which also gives me a credit.

rosecreakybex · 23/05/2020 14:07

I'm a big fan and have sent and received lots. But I'm not sure I'm sending them as sympathy flowers... it's a bit of a faff to arran he them!

WorraLiberty · 23/05/2020 14:09

Another fan here.

I got some for my birthday. Conveniently posted through letterbox and lasted at least 2 weeks.

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 23/05/2020 14:10

I got my first bunch this week as a gift. When they arrived the more delicate flowers had a soft spongy net over them which helped keep them protected.

They looked sleepy til they had had a good evening in water. And they are just getting better every day.

ClosedAuraOpenMind · 23/05/2020 15:06

@whitesoxx used your code - will be good for DMs birthday at the end of this month

thequeenofsandwich · 23/05/2020 15:10

Ordered some for my mum on Wednesday, arrived Friday morning.
She is over the moon with them
Also got 40 % discount with my NHS blue light card

whitesoxx · 23/05/2020 15:14

Ooh thanks 😊

nicky2512 · 23/05/2020 15:17

Have missed loads. Will read all shortly. Looks like most experiences have been good. Will use one of the referral codes too. Thank you.

I ordered myself some this week, the letterbox option. They arrived looking pretty wilted and 4 days later have mostly bloomed but never looked like a £30 bunch of flowers. I wouldn't use again.

PaperMonster · 23/05/2020 15:46

I’ve received a couple and they’ve been beautiful! Sent my friend some this week and they’ve been lovely!

80sMum · 23/05/2020 15:52

I've received some. The flowers looked in bad condition on arrival (think half-dead!) but I followed the instructions to the letter and within a few hours they looked like they had been freshly picked! They lasted 3 weeks, too.
