Help, quick dairy free chocolate cake recipe

We're having a zoom party for DD birthday, one of the mums has said her DD is dairy free, I don't have any non dairy milk or spread, we are planning on dropping off party bags on foot but we bought a Colin the Caterpillar cake.
Wanted to make chocolate cupcakes to go with the Colin!
I think she's OK with eggs but I do have egg replacer as it happens so I'll check. I really don't want to buy a non dairy milk we won't use and I can only really get to the corner shop so I'm not sure they will have non dairy spread. I have vegetable oil and flour and cocoa powder.

Probably a bit late now, but I made this the other day, and it was very nice. We are not vegan, nor do we have any allergies etc, I just wanted cake and had no eggs!

Don't bother with the icing sugar on top, it just melts in.

A box mix of Betty crocker chocolate cake mixed with a can of full sugar coke. Easiest ever. You can also use Betty crocker icing.

I do cake baking semi-professionally, and I swear by this recipe from addapinch:

addapinch.com/the-best-chocolate-cake-recipe-ever/

I've used it for a couple of years and I'll never again use another chocolate cake recipe. It is accidentally dairy free, as it uses oil instead. When you reach the part about adding the boiling water, the author is absolutely right, it creates the most perfect fudgy texture.
I also add extra (decaf) coffee, which you don't taste at all, but which makes the cake much more decadent and rich.

Thanks! I found one from Tesco in the end.
