Sorry I know it's not the right place but I was hoping for a few responses before I hopefully fall asleep soon. Has anyone been on the antibiotic Lymecycline and had a bad experience?

Had it for acne. Kicked in after about a month. Did a great job of keeping cystic spots on the chin away. No side effects. But after the course finished skin problems returned.

Took it for two years for perioral dermatitis. No side effects and no return of the condition.

Just finishing a course for ocular rosacea. No problems.

Ds was on it for about 18 months for acne. Initially it helped but it did stop working. No obvious side effects. He's now on three months of doxycycline.
