How long does cheese last in your house?

We love cheese in this house. We got through two-thirds of a block that was collected on the food shop this morning, as well as a mozzarella and some feta. That's for 2 adults, a 3 year old and a one year old. We buy 3-4 blocks a week plus other cheeses for meals or with crackers.

Just wondering how long a block of cheese lasts in your household?

Not long at all! A basic block of cheddar will last a week... some sandwiches and a cheese sauce will see it that. GOOD cheese never lasts long at all. I bought Brie, Stilton, Red Leicester and Cornish Quartz Cheddar on Thursday..... there is a small amount of the cheddar & Leicester left, the Brie & Stilton are gone.

We are getting through 2 x 550g blocks a week at the moment - that's 2 adults, 2DC. We have cheese sandwiches for lunch most days though, then grated cheese on some dinners or with salad.
