Hi all, I’m due in August and currently looking to buy a pram, I have decided on icandy peach but can’t decide between 2 of the new colours, black twill with chrome frame or dark grey twill with black frame Hmm I can’t buy both so I’m gonna have to choose one Grin what would you choose?

I don't know about that pram specifically but I have an uppababy in dark grey with a black frame. It's now on my third baby and still looks new.

Personally I don't like the chrome frame on the peach, it looks a bit cheap (and it certainly isn't!).

Burnt orange/red coloured silver cross black and silver frame. Not everyone's choice but I love it.

Is it polished shiny chrome, which will get filthy and covered in sticky fingerprints in 30 secs and require endless cleaning to stay looking nice? If so, I’d definitely go for the black frame.

Thanks for your ideas, a good point about the sticky fingerprints on shiny chrome. I’m starting to sway towards the black frame, more practical

I'd stay away from black, it shows up baby puke, milk and such up very badly. My SIL's pram was black and looked old before it's time, we got a teal blue which I don't think is as bad. I'd go for grey if I were you!

Ooh, I'm taking about the fabric colour btw, our frame is Matt black and and it's fine!

Kittykatmacbill · 23/05/2020 08:13

The one that shows the least dirt!

I had a red Pram and I blooming loved it! (Ds now 7) also had a black Maclaren buggy which was great but boring to look at x

Of the two you say, I'd go grey with the black frame. But I've just seen they do a navy one - so personally I'd go for navy.

IWouldLikeToKnow · 23/05/2020 08:45

The grey with black frame sounds lovely. I had the black with chrome frame and I loved it but I'd have chosen the grey with black if I'd had the choice

Riotgirlxxx · 23/05/2020 08:47

Black frame. I've got an older version icandy peach with black frame and black fabric and I love it. Using for DD2 now and the black doesn't really show up any dirt.

Only thing is my frame has a couple of scratches where the silver underneath shows through now. Its had a lot of heavy use and being repeatedly wedged in my tiny car though!

Walkerbean16 · 23/05/2020 08:52

black fabric fades more in the sun i have found.

Bubsno3 · 23/05/2020 11:42

Thanks everyone, I’m thinking maybe the grey might show up less dirt and won’t fade in the sun and I really like the grey and black although the scratches may eventually show though on black frame... DH prefers black, never thought this could be such a tough decision Hmm

Fyi icandy frames are terrible for scratching.

I have it in chrome with a petrol blue sheen and a petrol blue hood. The lower seat is bubblegum pink which gives me SO much joy. Of Your choices the grey is the nice imo however if I knew I was having a girl I would get the peach in pink.

I also have a bugaboo and love that you can change the colours, I have 2 really bright hood/sets. I think bright colours are the nicest!
