My dd 25 finds it odd when people refer to her as young. She was referred to as young Lady in a letter from a consultant. She says she doesn’t feel young anymore.

I think of "young adults" as 18-25. I'm about to turn 30 this year so I don't think I'll be considered a "young person" any more. But I suppose it depends on perspective! My colleague who is 52 always tells me how young I am but she has a daughter my age.

Yes I suppose it’s all relative.

How about 62?

Dogsaresomucheasier · 22/05/2020 18:48

To me a young adult is 18-30.

Yes I would say up to about 35 is young.

My granny calls any woman under 70 a ‘girl’ - she’s 90 Grin
It’s all relative!

TitianaTitsling · 22/05/2020 21:15

Did he refer to her as a 'pleasant young lady'? Standard doctor letter!

User43224222 · 22/05/2020 21:18

He did indeed.

About 30 ish.

amusedbush · 22/05/2020 22:18

I just turned 30 and I refuse to accept that I’m not young Grin

I was asked for ID a few weeks ago and I could have kissed the woman on the checkout!

Purplepussycat · 22/05/2020 22:20

I tell my grandma she’s not old till she’s 100 🙂

TitianaTitsling · 22/05/2020 22:31

Then that's good user if he'd just said her name, I think that's an indicator of uh-oh!
