How would you do tin? In terms of the design

Well my ensuite is avocado, shower tray, loo and sink! So I would rip that out and replace with white. The tiles are two shades of green so they would go too. My bedroom I love as I decorated that. It's the ensuite that needs a complete redo but we don't have the funds at the moment

I can understand that

I'm just coming to the end of mine. We are finishing the coving and painting today. It's taken much longer than it should have due to covid issues and I'm still waiting on carpet to be fitted.

Mine is all very pale with 1930s dark wood furniture. Deep shag pile ivory carpet, pale greige linen curtains, pale greige thick velvet bedspread (matt not shiny), cole and son wallpaper in white and greige, accent emerald green vintage chair, glass curtain poles and lamps, mixed metals, lots of original art deco bits found on ebay like a wooden clock and a glass dressing table set.

Dressing room is all white floor to ceiling wardrobes with gold and glass handles.
Bathroom is white calacatta marble with brushed brass fixtures, a vintage sideboard turned into a double vanity unit, a massive bath a japanese bidet toilet and a pale grey silk blind (which is currently waiting for me to be brave enough to cut the material and get on with it).

It's been a long time coming (we lived with the falling apart, last done circa 1992 look for 11 years) and it wasn't cheap but it's worth it.

I am really excited about finishing it. I'm hoping its very light and calm.

Suffice to say we haven't finished the coving and painting today. Its taken us most of the day to sort out the coving. Hopefully by the end of the weekend though.
