So in my personal situation we have a conversation about this. I have Yr 6 twins. One is abled and one has mobility issues. Also the second one needs 1 to 1 at school. The school have kindly sent the children guidance to what it would look like if they go back on the 1st. There are one way routes round the school that have steps which he can't manage and through the narrow part of the school which doesn't fit his walker.
We are thinking of sending physically able child back but waiting with our other child until the kinks are sorted out. Dh has no work so can sit with him 1 to 1 at home to do the work and that will be better then at present as he's having to manage both or fight all the time. The space between them will also be welcome.
Does this sound practical and best for both? Home schooling has been difficult, I have to work on the floor in the bedroom to get anything done. The boys need space. Education needs will be met.
Have we not thought of anything? Both children are using a phone and the school system to talk to friends as well as zoom.
