*boring post alert* anyone got a shark hoover?

On QVC today they have a shark hoover with the anti hair wrap for £166. I’ve thought about buying one for ages, me and my 2 kids both shed hair like crazy.

That said, I don’t NEED a hoover, the one I have is pretty crap (blocks all the time) but is barely 2 years old. I’m furloughed and while we’re fortunate enough to be ok financially just now I’m actively trying to cut back on spending.

Is it worth buying or should I not bother?

We've got a Shark Liftaway and a Shark cordless. They're both absolutely amazing. We've never had a problem with them blocking. Our Liftaway is 3 years old and still picks up as well as they day we bought it. DH is really anal about maintaining them though.

I have a Shark and I do not love it. I hoover daily so this is not good.

The cord is all twisted and knackered, the fluffy bit at the front gets clogged v quickly, the dust reservoir is tiny, the brush attachment doesn't work (that may just be mine).

I like the lift away feature and the quick switch from floor to carpet, but other than that, really want my Dyson back.

Ah I misread about the anti hair wrap, thought it was a thing for doing you hair Op, as an extra!! 😂😂

That's what I need then as mine is constantly clogged. It's a lot harder to clean than the Dyson too I find

I've got a cordless shark and love it Smile.

We love ours, but it's still pretty new.
Get the XL one tho, unless you are in a small 2 bed. I need to empty ours at least once when vacuuming a 4 bed house, and often empty it twice.

We’ve got a shark lift away with one of those hair wrap things which replaced our cordless Dyson (which was utterly useless. I gave it to my brother for cleaning his car). It’s ok. I have really thick carpets and was expecting great things from what friends and family had said. I’m distinctly underwhelmed. It’s not bad, just not as brilliant as some people suggest. I prefer my mum’s Henry and will be replacing the Shark with one as soon as DH forgets how much we spent on the Shark.

Does the anti hair wrap feature work?

I have a cordless Vax and it's neither use nor ornament.
