Which would you choose to open first?

If the relaxation of lockdown continues, which would you choose to be open first - hairdressers or pubs/cafes and why?

My choice is hairdressers - I look as if I have been dragged through a hedge backwards! I have no wish to visit a pub or cafe for a long, long time!

I really miss eating out

I'm not in a great hurry for either tbh.

Of the 2 then hairdressers.
I'm not into pubs/cafes plus I wouldn't feel comfortable eating out.

Hairdressers as I can still get takeaway food and drink. I do miss eating out, I don't often go to the pub though.

Restaurants. Told DH the question and my answer. He gave me a rather dubious look and said he'd go for hairdressers as he doesn't want to take me out for a meal while I look like a woman who had a fight with a hedge trimmer and lost Sod him them, I'll go on my own

Hairdressers! DS’s hair is badly in need of a trim, the longer it gets the more it curls. He’s not fond of having it brushed but it tangles something awful. My hair is also far too long, particularly in the current heat.

Pubs/restaurants are a bit meh for me anyway, usually because they’re a luxury I can’t really afford so I don’t mind waiting longer for them to reopen

Hairdressers - although I'm not that desperate

I rarely go to pubs or restaurants very often and usually only go to cafes if I'm on holiday or on a day out

Cafes and pubs so long as they are big enough to maintain some distancing or have a nice sized outdoor area. I'd like our local pub to be able to open on a sunny afternoon so sit on the big field behind with an ice cd drink.

My hair I don't really diss about as only get it cut and coloured 2-3 times a year anyway.

Hairdressers as so many people must be furloughed or with no or little income in that sector. Plus, having your hair done can make you feel better. Lots of pubs and restaurants have been providing take away or collection services.

Hairdressers. I can buy in alcohol and make a nice meal, but I can't manage a decent haircut.

Pubs with live music, then pubs with decent carverys, then cafés. Not interested in their takeaway option it's going out socialising and meeting friends that I miss. I would rather the gym/swimming pool open before hairdressers as personally makes me feel better.

Happy to have takeaways and am hiding my really bad hair days in a scruffy bun, but am really missing the gym. Happy to book an hours slot and only have 4 of us in there at any time, or any other social distancing they want to introduce, will even volunteer to help move all the equipment around so it faces into walls rather than walkways, but would love to go back!

If they were all closed for another reason (say flooding or something) I'd say cafes. I used to enjoy people watching in various Café gardens.

Now I have absolutely no desire to go into cafes/pubs/restaurants or the hairdressers.

Infection rate will need to be MUCH lower before I'm happy to have others handling my cups/plates/cutlery etc

Pubs... because.. well pubs!

Restaurants, I love cooking but I can't wait to eat out.
