So, the dc are learning their instruments, piano, trumpet and violin. One is at grade 4, the other two are working towards 1 & 2.
I am so intrigued by music theory and what makes music work IYSWIM.
Ds who I've been told is musical is talking happily about chords, keys, base notes and is able to sass out which goes with what to sound right.
If there are any musicians, here, are you able to explain in a 'for dummies' nutshell style, how music works, why a perfect 5th is perfect and why some keys go well with each other?
