Their clothes keep coming into my facebook feed, but then the same clothes keep coming up under a different website as well which makes me think there's something dodgy about it? But I like the look of the clothes....would be grateful for some information if anybody has any?

Stolen images with crap quality coming from China. These companies are like Whack a Mole. They keep springing up with name changes

LivingOnAnIsland · 21/05/2020 21:45

So that's a no then! Thanks for the info, will avoid.

I’ve been looking at this website too. I’m very tempted to order unless someone can say they’ve actually had a bad experience.

Jewellerlisa · 25/05/2020 12:45

I have had a terrible experience- DO NOT BUY from them!

Same terrible experience here. Clothes arrived and looked NOTHING like the pictures. Terrible quality material, badly made, ridiculously small.
When I complained and asked for a refund they stalled for ages, then eventually said I could have a refund if I posted the clothes back to China (at considerable postage cost to me - more than half again on what I had already spent on the clothes).
They also said the parcel must be tracked. However, I couldn’t find a company who could track to that particular area of China, meaning that if the parcel was lost in transit (or if they just denied ever receiving the returns) I wouldn’t get a refund at all.
I didn’t bother and chalked it up to a bad experience.
I will NEVER EVER again order anything from a company based in China.
INSTAGRAM NEEDS TO STOP ADVERTISING THESE COMPANIES!!!!!

LivingOnAnIsland · 05/06/2020 19:42

hippohector that's awful, shouldn't trading standards or similar be banning these companies?

There advertising on Facebook too and keep coming up under so many different names , it's such false advertising?!

Powerjen65 · 05/06/2020 21:51

Do not buy anything from cluedress - I ordered 2 items which have arrived and bear absolutely no resemblance to the photos - they are cheap, ill fitting even going by the sizing guide. They say the clothes are made in Atlanta but they aren't- they come from China- and now I can't get a return address from them. Their email contact Ben has said I should try to sell them on to recoup my money or give them away. Cluedress have offered 5% refund which is a joke. This is ongoing so I will post the outcome when I hear from them,
Please take this as a warning !

LivingOnAnIsland · 06/06/2020 08:24

Thanks for all the information.

Cluedress. com. Really bad experience overall. bad quality clothing, had a hole in it too, size was about two sizes smaller than I expected. They would let me return but at my expense which meant sending from UK to China at a cost of £15. I argued with them but go nowhere so all I can do is spread the word do not use them.

Kazimierz · 20/07/2020 14:44

Do not buy anything frm cluedress..... I’m having trouble as I write this comment to u, I ordered a red pair of checked dungarees and paid £25 via pay pal on 26th June, still not received these, I’ve emailed cluedress and messaged them on Facebook I’ve now been blocked! No reply’s to my emails either it’s now in the hands of pay pal to dispute this. I’ve since read al of trust pilots reviews the company does not read good!!

Toni2020 · 29/07/2020 07:30

I received the clothes last week. Spend £157... It looks like the return will cost more than the value of goods. I've calculated the import costs and It will cost me £220 to return! Am fuming!!!! Don't know what to really. It feels like I've just thrown away 157£. Unbelievable!

SheWranglesRugRats · 29/07/2020 08:53

Are people really surprised that clothes ordered sight unseen from a sweatshop turn out to be crap?

Hello, I just want to warn anyone who is tempted to buy from Cluedress or Floryday. The dress I ordered was a joke. The armholes came practically down to the waist but this was hidden in the photos of the dress on the model. The material was the cheapest nylon that I have ever seen. They did not send any returns address. I have sent about eight messages asking for the address. When a reply was received,It was just time wasting, as they still would not give me an address. I will be contacting the citizens advice bureau, the office of fair trading and will try to have it stopped through Facebook.
Anyone who has had a bad experience please complain thoroughly so that more people do not have to go through this tiresome and disappointing ordeal

ThePebbles · 10/08/2020 11:10

They want you to do that and that is why their emails will not give a start forward answer. Try again saying that you will go to Trading Standards

GoshHashana · 10/08/2020 11:10

Dodgy Chinese website is dodgy. Quelle surprise!

CatCymru · 09/10/2020 12:42

I bought about £160 worth of clothes from Cluedress during the height of the lockdown, partly to cheer myself up. All orders were for the same size, but when they arrived, so called linen was cheap Lycra, sizes were crazy, either huge or far too small, colours were garish and nothing like shown on their site. Most of them were thrown in the clothes bank unworn, the rest were cut up for patchwork. They should be shut down. Don't waste your money on their rubbish products. :-(
