Furlough pay

I received shielding letter for my children on the 18/04 so that was my last day in work
I’ve been furloughed but I think they’ve only paid me from the 12/05. Am I right in thinking it should have been backdated?

Without sharing the actual numbers we cant answer that. Did your company agree to furlough you from 18/4? Dont forget it's only 80% and capped at £2500 per month (before tax)

Also companies can't claim until 14 days before the claim date.
