I love bats

I used to sit down and watch them fly by the house all the time. I moved in October and I haven’t seen any in years

There is one now flying by the doors. Flying quite close actually and is swooping over our heads. Amazing to watch.

giantangryrooster thanks for mentioning the bats/rabies link. I was beginning to think it was only'American' bats which carried rabies.

We have then here sometimes, I might try and sit out more now the evenings are warmer
We saw one once out in the day, sunning itself ....on the side of a Scottish coffee shop, it would appear quite often appear quite often apparently.
Will try and attach a photo but MN doesn't usually cooperate with me and photos
