My house is positioned at such an angle that the back garden is at the side and is really the front of the house.

I feel like I'm living in a goldfish bowl

How can I get some privacy in my house?

I have 2 children and am overrun with friends running into the garden. Constantly.

Any ideas? I love my house but I hate having no privacy

Definitely get bolts for the gates. Padlocks too if the bolts aren’t enough.

I take it you are not in the UK under lockdown? Otherwise you'd have put a lock on the gate. Put one on anyway.

Lock the gate! If anyone mentions it, then you’re worried about security.

You don’t have a problem with privacy, you’ve a problem with neighbours kids.

Just lock the gates! You're over thinking this. If you don't set boundaries now, you will never have a second's peace.
