Zoom meeting

Can anyone help please?
I have been sent an email to take part in a Zoom meeting (just one other person). There are 2 telephone numbers at the bottom of the email and a meeting reference number. Can I 'attend' the meeting without downloading or installing an app on my Mac? I have tried google for an answer, but I am confused. Thanks for any help

Yes you can, zoom web browser, just google zoom and there are steps there for it

Yes just click the link on the email and it will take you to the website version

Thank you. I feel seriously stupid but just couldn't understand it. I know with Skype you can just click the link.

Ok, I can now see a 'join meeting' option on zoom that just requires a meeting reference. I don't know what I was reading but it said you either had to sign up for an account or download an app.

The account is free. If you instigate a meeting on a free account you have 45 mins. It's pretty good. And has settings that make one look more presentable.

Ooh, can I check in early and make myself look presentable? It may take a while I'm not instigating the meeting thankfully, and I don't anticipate there being any further meetings.
