Summer clothes help!

I work with kids so need some comfy clothes but for hot weather (I'm generally a warm person and sweat easily!) I'm a size 12 and carry weight on my belly and thighs so need something not too short / unflattering. Someone point me in the right direction please! I like the idea of playsuits but a bit longer as I find the shorts are often too short!

Not really what you were asking for, but I got a dress from Seasalt that just hits the knee. Nice and cool and I work with children too. 2 summers ago now, but similar to this:

www.seasaltcornwall.co.uk/clothing/dresses-tunics/abbey-view-jersey-midi-dress-summer-meadow-harbour.htm

Not cheap, but lots of wear and still looks good as new.

If you’re working with kids, I’d stick to woven cotton basics, washable and cool.
Boden has wide leg cotton trousers and play suits, woven cotton tops, and some fairly relaxed knee length cotton dresses that would be cool. I have Boden dresses that have lasted for years.

Or H&M have basic cotton chinos if you prefer straightleg.
