is teams better than zoom?

We use zoom for work a lot, but given the recent issues I am looking for reliable and secure alternatives. It turns out I can register for a free account. Is this just as good as Zoom? are there any limitations? Is there any reason why all my colleagues cannot also just set up a free account?

One of the things I like about zoom is that I can live stream the important meetings to youtube. Is this possible on teams? Or similar way to publish?

Public sector we are not allowed to use Zoom. My dc uses zoom and it cuts out after 30 mins now which has only happened past few days. Ms teams is good for a shared drive, messaging and sharing documents live.
