I'm a convert not going to lie, I use ModiBodi. Is there any just as good brands out there that are a bit cheaper? Saying that ive gone from using 3 packs of night pads to just washing and drying the pants I have. But I need some more does anyone know any good brands?

Not going to lie, I just looked at ModiBodi's website to see what I was missing and their copy is just appalling.

FOR LEAKY BOOBS, HUNGRY BUBBIS AND SOCIAL MUMMIS

Frigging BUBBIS!!??? and MUMMIS???!

Nope! I got right out of there. Twee fuckers.

Oddballz · 19/05/2020 10:55

@FortunesFave I didn't see that!

Odd well I'm a copywriter, often it's the first thing I see when I land on a website. Grin Most people wouldn't really notice it...I just hate their choice of cutesy language. I mean...why not choose some clear, factual language instead?

They've obviously decided women's periods and bodies in general are too gross to discuss in a factual manner and this annoys me.

I’ve just bought some Sainsbury’s ones in their 25% off sale so I’ll let you know!

I've got the Cheeky Wipes ones and love them!

Loopyloopy · 19/05/2020 23:17

@WitchWindows I couldn't just use a pair on a heavy night. For me, they are best used as back up for a cup. This method is the most comfortable of any I've tried. You need a few pairs because they take ages to dry.

lakeswimmer · 19/05/2020 23:20

DD uses Cheeky Wipes and seems happy with them.

youngestisapsycho · 19/05/2020 23:40

Those ones from Sainsburys aren’t that great.... my DD uses Wuka ones which are good, for heavy flow.

DontGoIntoTheLongGrass · 19/05/2020 23:43

Bubbis Grin seriously my phone couldn't even comprehend that one, kept changing it to bunnies. We're obviously too delicate to use real words and my phone knows it.

2beautifulbabs · 19/05/2020 23:50

I have modibodi period pants and they are great.
I finally got to try them out a week ago and I have really heavy periods so I purchased the ones for heavy flow overnight use.
They were brilliant I didn't leak so my bedsheets weren't wrecked like they normally are and wow I wish I had bought them sooner so comfy on and great feeling going to bed with just them on no pads.
Will defiantly purchase another pair.

Arseit · 19/05/2020 23:57

@FortunesFave I have lots of ModiBodis. That language, however, is very off putting I agree. Totally unnecessary. And I wonder if it’s a new thing, as I don’t recall it when I was looking into these.

@Oddballz, they’re great. I know you wanted other recommendations, but I don’t have any, I love the MBs!

Oddballz · 20/05/2020 00:14

@WitchWindows yes I use one pair at night keeps me leak free which is amazing as I was able to sleep and not have to change my pads at 4am!

I have the cheeky wipes ones and they are fantastic!

FortunesFave · 20/05/2020 04:55

Arse they're an Aussie company...and I live in Australia so have noticed the gross use of "Bubs" when people mean "Baby".

Also a generally poor use of language in advertising.

If they didn't use this language before, they must have had a re-brand. I'd like to meet the people responsible!

Budapestpest · 20/05/2020 07:06

I’ve just looked at modibodis and see that they make swim suits for use while on your period. Has anyone tried this and had no leaks? Would be a good idea for dd perhaps but wonder how well they work

Yellowbutterfly1 · 20/05/2020 07:22

My teenage daughter uses Waku and likes them.
Couldn’t afford to try all different makes so purchased a couple of Waku ones when on offer to try and thankfully they have been a success.

turtletum · 20/05/2020 07:31

I've tried tulip and cheeky wipes pants, as they're both more affordable than modibodi. Cheeky wipes pants are great, I've been really impressed. Tulip are ok but I didn't like the fit as much, and they've not washed as well.

Sunbird24 · 20/05/2020 07:31

I have a mixture of cheekywipes pants and pads and tulipcup pants but the latter don’t seem to be available any more

zippyswife · 20/05/2020 07:32

Apologies for my ignorance but what do they do?

BookWitch · 20/05/2020 07:33

I have one modibodi and it's very good but pricey.

I also have several Innersy, much cheaper and do the job . Dds have innersy as well

Sunbird24 · 20/05/2020 07:34

I take it back, the tulip ones are on a different website than I originally used when I bought mine. It contains the dread word panties... Hmm

PeppaisaBitch · 20/05/2020 07:44

I use the Sainsbury's once and think they are great. But I only use as a backup as I always wore pad and tampon anyway. Haven't tried without a tampon except on first or last day for very light flow. I also use them when running. Just in case 😳

Newchapter2020 · 20/05/2020 07:50

I love Modibodi, the night time pants are perfect.
