Incontinence pants for running?

6 replies

I’m a few months post partum and still having a few bladder issues. Have been wearing normal incontinence pads and occasionally pants where necessary but am really eager to get back into running. Interested to know if anyone has tried using the pants for running or gym? If so, did you have any issues with chaffing or was it all okay? Thanks!

I wear stretchy, close fitting pants with washable sanitary pads as backup. Far more comfortable than disposable, and no waste.

I have got a pair of period pants but find them a bit sweaty.

Kegels? Sorry if that really obvious 😳😳

I've just downloaded an app (Squeezy) to remind me to do them 🙊🙊

Not a mum either, just tired of needing wee all the time 😳😳😳 (and not wanting to run after work after a day drinking water iyswim? 😳😳)

Yes - am all about the Kegels right now.

I also use pads most of the time but for running I think I’d just feel more confident in Tena pants. I also have the black ones so I hope they wouldn’t be too obvious around the waist (if my running top moves about a bit). Just worried about chaffing but maybe I need to try them for a shorter run first!

Try Always incontinence pants. I used both Tena and the Always when I was PP and the Always are so much better! More comfortable, they look nicer, and not as bulky. I’ve not run in them but I was much more comfortable wearing the Always when I was out and about as they were much more discrete.

Modibodi have a washable activewear range

@LakeTittyHaHa

Completely agree. Have never tried running in them but the “Always Boutique” pants are v good.
