I've seen an advert for it.. I just wondered if its any different to Monzo and its round ups? I'm not very financially savvy but after getting out of debt I'm trying every which way to save as much as possible.

Hello. I've been using plum since January and saved over £500 without noticing !
I've took it out and put it into my current savings account a couple of times as still wary but it does go straight into there.
I've literally barely noticed it leaving my account. I did do the rainy day savings at a higher amount and one week in February it took seven days and usual savings so I noticed it then but usually it's small amounts like 8.47 etc so I don't notice it leave.
I let it build up and I'm always pleasantly surprised when I log on 😊 hope this helps. X

I love Plum, it’s helped me save so so much! I can’t recommend it enough to people. It’s so good just to nip into it and be surprised with how much you’ve saved!

I use Halifax save the change. But also have small standing orders go out every few days to a savings account

Thank you. Would it only really be beneficial if I have a good chunk of money paid into it? E.g salary. With my monzo I put a fixed amount in weekly for my food shop and it rounds the change up. I was saving around 30 pm in round ups but since lockdown I've only saved around 15 in 8 weeks Sad.
I do save elsewhere but I've become a bit obsessed with all sorts of different ways to squirrel money away.. I am terrified of ending up in debt again (why couldn't I have had this change in mindset in my 20's Sad)
