Cannot stand constant noise

My four year old, like all four year olds, is loud. All the time.
My husband is loud.
My work is constant phone meeting after phone meeting.
The TV is always on. Seemingly even just in the background?!?

After my four year old is in bed my husband wants to talk, or watch tv or have sex (it's not happened for a while).

I log into work at 7am and it's constant fucking noise until four year old goes to bed @8pm
.
I don't want to be touched and I don't want to listen to anything! I want to spend my evening being left completely the fuck alone .

Genuinely feel like too much noise is giving me a slight mental break down? ?

Just wanted to rant, didn't know where to post sorry. Anybody else feel the same?

I grew up in a house where the telly was always on. Sometimes there’d be two on - one in the kitchen and one in the lounge, on different channels, with nobody watching either. The first thing my DF would do on entering the house would be to turn on the telly then wander into another room. It’s like he needs the background noise (in fact he now sleeps with it on all night, and says he can’t sleep without it).

When I left home I discovered the joy of silence. It was a revelation. I’ve been a lover of quietness ever since. The toddler years were hard; I feel for all those in lockdown in noisy households.

I can’t stand noise especially excessive uncalled for noise, crisp bags rattling, eating noise, straws slurping, people raking when eating, cupboards banging, neighbours arrgghhh. Hate it so much. Really makes me cross and I also get tinnitus which makes even more cross

I would pay to have silence in our home just now! My husband likes to put (crap) music on loudly in one room & then wander away. My DD is an electronic budgie. I love peace & quiet. It's torturous!

I totally understand. It's so draining. I am desperate for some solitude.
