Does anyone have major spending guilt?

We are having to cut back at the moment... we are trying to save to get out of renting and DPs hours have now been cut quite dramatically because of COVID. This is overtime and will set us back around 1K a month.

I am having major spending guilt about stupid past purchases. Skincare and makeup I havn't liked. Dresses I have worn once and 'gone off' and even food I have thrown away.

Does anyone feel this major spending guilt? More wasting then spending alone. I feel really sick to my stomach adding everything up!

In a way I do. I am OK financially for the moment but I feel so very cross when I end up eventually getting rid of clothes I brought etc or the takeaways that I've brought (and yes enjoyed) in the past when I now think how over weight I am and what I could have done with the money instead!

I suspect that, when the lockdown is finally lifted, a LOT of people are going to be spending a lot less on stuff that they have come to realise over the past few weeks is totally worthless and pointless.

Apart from anything else, we're all going to have a lot less money to waste.
