How do I use Google to search an image?

Something fell off my washer earlier on & I want to find out whether it's actually an important bit or the machine might still limp along a while longer without it.

Can someone tell me how to use my photo to search what it is on Google, please? :)

Perhaps it's because I have a Google phone but I can just use Google lens on any photo I take. Do other brand phones have that feature?

Lens works on the Google Photos app.

Well, I'm still none the wiser as to what my random piece of washing machine is (it identified several plumbing parts, but none quite right) but can see that being fun to use!
