How are your 8/9/10/11 year olds who don't have phones communicating with their friends?

We've tried zoom which seemed to work well.
But just wondering what your kids are using.

FaceTime and messaging on my phone and I've also set them up with an email address

Roblox and zoom meetings where they play roblox at the same time.

Console is good because they are playing so have something to talk about.

7 year old FaceTimes a friend every day using either my phone , or zoom on the laptop. I text whichever parent that morning to set up for the afternoon. She spends up to two hours on a call, generally playing school!
We are nearly 10 weeks in to lockdown ( Ireland) and in the beginning she was writing letters and cards but that dwindled about 6 weeks in!

The problem we have is that any communication initially needs to go via school at the moment as the kids can't physically meet - so we can't share things like Skype IDs so the kids HAVE the ability to message because obviously safeguarding.

So the ones who have parents who are mates have been able to maintain contact but the outside parents now have kids who are outsiders as well.
