Does anybody understand the Tripp Trapp versions??

I've just bought a second hand Tripp Trapp online. Serial number starts 30, manufacture date is 2005. It's got a high rounded back as shown in the image, which I believe was once part of a babyset. But it doesn't have the front bar with the leg divider.
Looking at photos online, the high rounded back only ever appears with the wood and leather front bar. But the Stokke website suggests that chairs manufactured after 2003 need the new plastic baby set - of which there seem to be 2 versions: v2 and v3.
Can anybody figure out a) whether the high rounded back is sufficient as a baby backrest and I don't need an additional one, and b) what style / version of front bar I need??
The seller is selling the chair on behalf of someone else so can't answer these questions for me.

Is there a hole on the front of the seat for the strap to go? We had the square backed one and there was a curved bar that went from side to side and a strap that went from the centre to the seat.

@Lordfrontpaw Yes - there's a hole in the seatplate. (I realise it's in back to front in this photo) It could be the case that both the leather/fabric strap and the centre bar of the newer plastic sets can fit into the hole, and it doesn't matter which you buy; I just don't want to shell out for one before I know! I don't suppose you still have tours to hand and could measure the hole for me to compare??

Sorry - ours is long gone! The hole was about an inch.

Is there also the foot rest? The hole in the back looks wrong - it’s usually the front (I’m sure) but the seat looks like it is facing the correct way.

We've got that version with the high back and have the wooden curved bar with a leather strap. I think either set would fit though.

Yes the seat is back to front. This is what ours was like.

I’ve got that one, it is the 2003 model and the hole on the seat should be on the front, I’ve got a wooden bar that goes around the front with a leather strap that feeds through the hole in the seat and loops on to the front bar.

Thanks all! Looks like the wooden bar + leather/fabric strap style is most likely to fit then. Stokke don't seem to sell them anymore but I'll keep my eyes out on eBay...
