Just curious - if the content is good enough, do you still stand a chance of becoming a fairly popular channel or no hope at all as nobby no mates?

More of a curiosity question really.

It depends how good your content is and how much self-promotion you are prepared to do. If you feel able to name-check others and follow them on Twitter etc, do lots of shout outs, retweets, get yourself known then I think you could build up to collaborations and becoming 'friends'. It's a long process but I have seen it done. If you are interested just from a curiosity point of view then this podcast might be for you.

Haha, that looks so scary but I promise you that Cristine is a nice girl really!

No. I think that boat has sailed now. People are more suspicious of 'influencers' now, as the market is saturated with people trying to make a quick buck.

There will be influencers who will hit the big time, despite all of the above. Focus on good content and growing a loyal following rather than just numbers.
